Christine Perkio: Focus on the ‘Why’

Christine Perkio and Kennedy WicksMany have asked how Christine Perkio reached Platinum in five weeks. Her answer? “Focusing on the ‘why’ keeps me motivated and on track.” Working her business for two hours a day, her original goal was to replace her income so she could stay home with her new baby. Now her goal is to help her husband work from home as well.

Christine Perkio is no stranger to hard work or the health industry. Besides being a mom, her resume boasts being an esthetician and spa supervisor for a luxury hotel, training others how to save lives as a certified first aid instructor, helping people achieve their goals as a personal trainer and assisting her mom and step-dad in publishing a number of successful network marketing books.

For the last ten years, Christine has been waiting for the right ground floor opportunity. “When my mom and Mark gave me the green light, I didn’t give it a second thought. I launched my Qivana business immediately and began to implement my plan of action.” She explained, “I contacted the people I love the most so I could share the potential with them–my dad, brother, friends, former classmates and those who had impacted my life. I wanted them to be on my team.”

Christine leverages her upline to create efficiencies and momentum. She explained, “I didn’t waste time researching every little detail about the compensation plan and product line. Taking full advantage of my team leaders allows me to not have to be an expert.” Once her warm list reviews her website, she answers their questions and then gets them on the phone for validation with her mom or stepdad, Platinum Stars Valerie Bates and Mark Yarnell.

Mark and Valerie had this to say about Christine: “We are both very excited that Christine has achieved Platinum in five weeks thanks to her infectious enthusiasm, credibility and remarkable work ethic. From the outset, we recognized her strong desire to remain at home with baby Kennedy and we knew that such a wonderful goal would be met with conviction and productive effort. Christine has exceeded expectations and we are delighted that she is reaching for a goal much bigger than herself.  Her “I’m all-in!” attitude will undoubtedly inspire others to realize their most precious dreams through Qivana.”

Christine’s Secrets to Success:

1. Keep your “why” in front of you to stay motivated
2. Focus two hours a day on your business
3. Follow and learn from people who have succeeded in network marketing

Nathan & Kelly Pence: Making a Difference One Pound at a Time

PenceHelping others is the best part of owning your own business. Just ask Platinum Pros Nathan and Kelly Pence, the masterminds behind the Metaboliq Lifestyle Transformation Project. “We brainstormed about fun ways to document our Metaboliq journey and kept trying to tie it into service. We decided to donate a pound of food for each pound that we lost, calling it the Pound for Pound Challenge. In addition, we donate an hour of volunteer service for every ten pounds shed.”

Nathan and Kelly explained, “As we improve our health we can also improve the health and well-being of those less fortunate.” Besides inviting their team, fellow IBOs and friends to join them in the challenge, they are blogging their success so others can share in the journey. “Remembering that each pound helps give someone else a meal–that’s inspiration!”

Working together helps keep everyone motivated.  “Our incredible team keeps us informed of their weight loss goals and successes. Having their support and encouragement has helped all of us stay on track with our Metaboliq transformations.” Nathan and Kelly have lost a combined 41 pounds and as a team they have lost around 200 pounds.

Equally as important as support from their team is that of their family, especially their four children.  “One of the most exciting and positive ‘side effects’ of this journey has been to see our kids come to the realization that they can achieve their dreams with vision, belief and dedication.  It’s exciting to hear our 5, 10, 12, and 13 year olds quote incredible leaders like Jim Rohn and Vernon Douglas on a regular basis, and refuse to use or take excuses.  The positivity that this company has brought to our family has been priceless and seeing their dreams get bigger and bigger has been incredible.”

Besides helping them lose weight, the Metaboliq system has propelled their business forward.  Presidential Diamonds, Vernon and Debra Douglas explain, “Nathan and Kelly’s Metabolic project and the Metaboliq product has turbo-charged the growth and success of their business.  It has launched them from Gold to Platinum and put Diamond within their sights. They have found that Metabolic is so well received by the public that new IBOs become walking and talking billboards of success.”

Nathan and Kelly went on to say, “We experienced life-changing benefits with the Qore System which we shared with family and friends. The benefits were such that people could notice a difference in our appearance in a short amount of time. Within weeks, we had people asking us how we were losing weight and how they could get their hands on whatever it was we were using.”

Happy to share their secrets of success with others, Nathan and Kelly continue to find time for things that are important. “We both believe that people can achieve whatever they put their heart into. Neither of us can remember a time when we weren’t busy, but we refuse to let that get in the way of our success and the future that our children deserve.”

“Thanks to programs like the Qivana Pound for Pound Challenge, local food banks like The Food Bank of Manatee are able to provide essential nourishment to people who would otherwise go hungry. One pound of food can provide a meal to someone in need, and one dollar donated to a local food bank can provide approximately seven meals for the hungry. The Food Bank of Manatee would like to express our thanks to Nathan and Kelly Pence, for spearheading the Qivana challenge, which has already provided resources to help end hunger. Please consider joining the challenge, or donating funds to The Food Bank of Manatee (www.foodbankofmanatee.org), or to your local food bank.”

Smiles. Sunshine. Pristine beaches. Clear blue seas. Good friends. And above all, recognition of a job well done. These were all major components of the Qivana Founders Circle Trip to beautiful St. Thomas, and as the pictures of smiling faces and incredible scenery testify, it was a trip to remember.

Boat Group Shot Golf Tournament

For a magical week in June, Qivana’s Founding IBOs, Founders and their families enjoyed the best scenery and activities the Caribbean has to offer. From golf to regatta races to island tours and an incredible closing dinner at the Great House, Qivana’s Founding IBOs were rewarded for their incredible leadership and accomplishments. And in an act of giving and gratitude that reflects Qivana’s culture, the Founding IBOs donated a full truck load of games, school supplies and toys to the Boys and Girls Club of St. Thomas.
