Gerry Reinholtz and Maureen Vizvary understand the power of teamwork. This dynamic duo has combined their talents, strengths, and experience to create a thriving business through helping others. “Everyone has different, God-given talents and we need to help others identify and use them,” says Gerry. “I am more proud of seeing individuals step out of their usual comfort zone and confronting the possibility of rejection than anything else we have done at Qivana. This determination and persistence is why we have such an amazing team. Getting to Platinum Star and setting a company record was a team effort!”

Prior to joining Qivana Gerry and Maureen were steeped in the corporate world. Gerry worked as a cost accountant for 15 years while at the same time pursuing his MBA in marketing. He used his marketing training to work for several high profile brands such as Timex and Curad, to name a few. Tired and frustrated with the corporate world, Gerry got into real estate and eventually network marketing. Maureen has a very diverse background and worked hard with the goal to retire at age 40. Her ambition has led to her success as the owner of a catering business, a fitness center, and an upscale children’s boutique that won her national recognition. While running those businesses she had a full time career in professional technology sales and was recognized as outstanding in her field. Her favorite place to work was Microsoft for five years, where she learned a lot about sales and marketing.  Maureen took a break from all the businesses to adopt her daughter, Oksana, from Siberia. It was then that Maureen realized that her career shouldn’t outweigh family time with her daughter. Maureen decided it was time to make her dream of a home-based business become a reality.

Although Maureen was introduced to Qivana’s pre-launch by dear friends she respected, she knew that it would mean an investment of her time that she was unable to carve out of her current obligations. She was running her own children’s boutique, working full-time in technology sales, and raising a toddler as a single mother. Reluctantly, Maureen had to pass on the opportunity. However, when Gerry was approached by Albert Muir to join the Olympic team at Qivana, Maureen advised Gerry not to pass it up!

“The opportunity to work with three American icons, Mike Eruzione, Dan Jansen, and Bonnie Blair were the icing on the cake!” exclaims Gerry. “I watched them growing up and being able to build a business, side by side with them is a dream come true.” Maureen adds, “Owning a position as an IBO with Qivana is like owning a multi-million dollar franchise without the franchise fees and all the other expenses associated. But like a franchise you receive the leadership, products, and training support to run a profitable business center.”

Maureen and Gerry got started by sharing their excitement and hitting the phones hard. “Both of us are great communicators and influential in our own way. We found that I had strength in getting people interested and Maureen was excellent in bringing them to close,” Gerry relates. “We tag- teamed together and targeted people who ran any type of business, had experience in network marketing, or those who had the potential to build a business with coaching and support. We worked on two time zones, East Coast and West Coast, to give us more potential stretch across the country. Our next reach is to go international!”

The two of them both agree that they feel a sense of urgency to share the message of amazing timing with Qivana. “We stress that we are on the cusp of hyper growth,” says Gerry. “Every new IBO should realize the blessing they have been given, with this company and with these products. Once they have the belief, plug in to all training calls, every event, talk to your upline, and just be involved and take an interest in your business. I tell my IBOs, leaders go to every event, whether they have anyone to bring or not! You will always learn something and it keeps you motivated,” he adds.

Gerry and Maureen say they like the fact that they can actually create their own economy in this struggling world. “We are absolutely blown away at the abundant mentality depicted in Qivana’s compensation plan!” says Gerry. This also was another key element for us joining Qivana. There is no limit to what you can achieve yourself. We truly enjoy talking about two specific elements of the compensation plan: no flushing of volume or points until you get paid on them, and the Executive Matching Bonus. These two items alone, in the compensation plan can hugely benefit anyone building their business to receive a check.”

A wonderful aspect about this business is being able to work side by side with people that you enjoy being with. Gerry adds, “We are so fortunate to be working with Albert Muir, Chris Cavedon, and Jerry Campisi who have each helped us every step of the way to Platinum Star. The team support that reaches even beyond our team is outstanding.”

Gerry and Maureen say that they believe that God put Qivana in their lives at the perfect time, for both of them and for those around them. “When we think big and long term, our goal is to be able to support orphanages. We believe Qivana will provide a means to do so much good in the world. Most of our team members have their own personal dreams of serving people. Our goal is to see the various missions of our teammates supported through their hard work. To be able to facilitate this and to have an impact in this world would be a beautiful testimony in our lives.”

Scott & Darcy Cook: The Research Pays Off!

For the past 15 years, Scott Cook’s profession has been in regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry. So when his wife, Darcy, approached him about Qivana, his first question was, “Is this network marketing?” His reaction was natural because, as he explains, “My whole career has been focused on biopharmaceuticals and I am on the board of directors for the Society of Quality Assurance. I had my reputation to think about. There was no way I was going to be involved with a nutraceutical company without due diligence.”

Scott regularly audits facilities to ensure they are compliant with the FDA regulations and he has seen some pretty interesting things. He was determined to stay clear from Darcy’s new-found interest, yet Darcy’s persistence paid off when Scott finally agreed to at least research Qivana.

“I had early conversations with Derek Hall and Justin Banner. They both spent time with me discussing the quality systems that they have put in place at Qivana to ensure a safe, reliable and high quality product for our consumers. I also looked at the clinical trials and I was able to determine that from a product standpoint, every process was handled thoroughly and very professionally, they definitely put scientific research behind these products before entering the market” Scott says. “This gave me confidence and helped me to move forward. I then began researching the business model and my conclusions were simply, ‘Wow!’”

Scott spent a great deal of time researching Qivana for one main reason. He says, “It’s important for me to get behind the product and company and have a strong personal belief in both. If you’re not behind these 100 percent, people will see through you.”

Scott and Darcy made the decision to make Qivana a priority in their life and partnering with Brian Ravenelle, friend and business owner was a great place to start. Darcy and Brian share the same business coach, John Alexandrov, who was instrumental in helping them launch their business. “John is working directly with the Gold Medal Champions, which creates phenomenal teamwork. More importantly, we all believe that comprehensive training, developing leaders and using the tools created by Qivana will accelerate our team,” he adds.

Scott’s approach to building a team was strictly business. “I wasn’t seeking out product users, I was seeking professional business people,” he says. He spoke with two colleagues of his, Mark Powicki and Keith Cabeceiras and showed them the business model and they both signed up. Mark is a doctor of physical therapy and Keith is the owner of physical therapy and chiropractic practices, so as Scott explains, the business just exploded working together as a team. Scott and Darcy’s team quickly expanded with the addition of Michael Kimble, president of an electrochemical engineering firm, and Diane Gray, a professional in the airline industry. “Our message to them all was simple. Let’s find four others just like you who you know, like, and trust. Together, we will grow your businesses.”

The Cooks’ teamwork quickly paid off when they hit Platinum Star in just three weeks! Scott is quick to give credit to his team members. “With Qivana, the more you work together, the more everyone benefits. Working as a team gives you the opportunity to learn about the company, the successes of others, and how they have done it so that you can duplicate their success. My goal is to give everyone the support they need to reach their goals. Darcy is all about the return on investment and Brian is the networker.”

Success for Scott and Darcy includes their personal experiences with the products. “I enjoy working out and staying in shape, and I’ve always bought supplements, so I was really interested in the QORE System. Since using the products, I’ve noticed I have more energy throughout the day and I think the QORE products are very effective and synergistic with the METABOLIQ products,” he says. In just one month, he has lost 15 pounds and Darcy has lost seven pounds and 3 ½ inches in her waist and hips! “We have had such great natural benefits that I quickly realized I had the responsibility to help all those underneath me be successful also,” he adds.

Scott is determined to help others gain financial and health benefits through Qivana. He is encouraged by the new sense of purpose he sees in those who become involved. “They are excited about their future. Qivana generates an exciting sense of hope because it is helping people to do what they want to do. To be a part of this and affect other peoples’ lives in positive ways is simply phenomenal!”

Snow-capped peaks. A mountainous retreat. Snowmobiling adventures. Good friends and camaraderie. And above all, recognition to Gold leaders for a job well done! Qivana’s Rewards Trips are second to none and this year’s Gold Summit Retreat was no exception.

Attendees from across the country gathered together for this year’s getaway at Daniel’s Summit Lodge in Heber, Utah from February 24-27. Qivana’s Gold IBOs were treated to a weekend of training and personalized business building strategies as well as a sneak peek into Qivana’s course for the future.

On Friday, Qivana Founder and CEO, Derek Hall spoke to IBOs about the importance of creating and leaving a legacy with their businesses and personal lives. Craig Johanson, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, talked of the importance of goal setting and challenged each IBO to set a goal and a completion date. Steve Perkins, Senior Manager of U.S. Sales, provided personalized training for each IBO’s business and strategies to increase business success. Afterwards, everyone suited up for an invigorating 20-mile snowmobile adventure to the mountain tops. The trip culminated as everyone reached the 10,000 foot snowy summit together. On the way back to the lodge, a few people got stuck with their snowmobiles and had to be dug out by the others. This was a very visual reminder to all that teamwork is required for success in life as well as with Qivana. After dinner together, the highlight of the evening was karaoke where we were able to discover some very talented IBO singers and some not-so-talented singing Founders.

On Saturday morning, Gold leaders were again treated to a wealth of information in another training session. Devin Glazier, Founder and Chief Financial Officer, talked about how to implement Qivana’s new sales tools and what IBOs are doing to generate success. Steve Perkins gave training on how to maximize sales through the MyQivana Office. Rodney James, Founder and Chief Sales Officer, concluded the training session by talking to IBOs about how to implement and apply all they had learned during the retreat. Afterwards, Gold leaders either spent the afternoon snowmobiling, shopping in Park City, or relaxing. The evening was spent together as Gold leaders talked about their goals and moving forward with their Qivana businesses.

This year’s Gold Summit was amazing. Best of all, the sense of camaraderie among IBOs and Founders was contagious as they came to know each other, recognize their common goals to help others, and as each of them recommitted themselves to be their best as part of the Qivana team. More than just training, the Gold Summit is an event that every IBO should make the goal to attend! Start qualifying today!

The Gold Summit provides IBOs and Qivana executives the opportunity to spend quality time together and really get to know each other. It helps us to better understand what we can do as a company to leverage their success. Those IBOs who attend come away with knowledge and examples specific to their organization to help them reach their goals.”
