Lisa Shelby – A Passion for the Products Creates a Thriving Business

Lisa Shelby’s introduction to and interest in Qivana were purely product based. “I was planning a vacation to Hawaii and I thought it would be nice to lose a few pounds, so my friend, Donna Terry, introduced me to the METABOLIQ Shakes,” Lisa says. She purchased the QORE and METABOLIQ Systems, used all of the products for a few weeks, and lost eight pounds before jumping on the plane to Hawaii. While she was on vacation, she used the QORE Probiotics and PRIME and was pleasantly surprised when she didn’t need to take her medication for acid reflux anymore. “It was exciting to see how quickly the products could positively affect my health,” she says.

Lisa’s natural talent and ability to share and talk openly with others quickly landed her a Qivana business before she knew it. “It was all by default,” she laughs. “I started telling my friends about the products and they began purchasing and signing up! In turn, they have told their friends and family, and I started getting phone call after phone call.” In fact, instead of calling others, Lisa spends most of her time right now receiving phone calls from people, telling them about the products, and then signing them up. “I have yet to make a cold call,” says Lisa, who reached Gold in April and Platinum the first week of May.

“I guess I’ve been surprised about people’s response to the products and how fast my business is growing, but it all just seems natural,” she says. “I feel very comfortable and confident about sharing Qivana with others because I love the products so much.” Lisa credits her success to the fact that she is honest and sincere about her passion for the products. “I don’t have an ulterior motive because at the end of the day, it’s not about the money, it’s about the product helping others to improve their health and feel better. People know me and respect my opinion so they know they can take my word when I tell them, ‘Try this product for 60 days—trust me, you’re going to love it!’”

Lisa has also found that success in this business is a result of working as a team. She and several other women in Tuscaloosa are working together to host group meetings, one-one-one meetings, and three-way phone calls. “We all have different strengths and serve different roles in this business, but as a team, we work really well together,” she says. “Now that our team is growing, our focus is on learning and utilizing Qivana’s Simple Seven and OATS Training to help those who really want to grow their business.”

For Lisa, the introduction of Qivana is perfect timing. “Life isn’t about just looking good anymore—it’s about real health. My parents are getting older and I see some of our friends and family members faced with health challenges. It’s exciting to know that with Qivana’s products, they can experience improved health for a lifetime,” she says. Sharing those health benefits with her friends and family is at the top of Lisa’s list of goals. “There’s nothing better than getting a phone call from a friend, telling me that they have lost weight or a health condition has improved and that they feel great. I love the products, so helping others experience real health results is simply amazing!”

Joe Chenoweth – Genuine Enthusiasm is the Secret to Success

Posted on : Tuesday, May 22, 2012 | By : QivanaHQ | In : General News, Q Newsletter, Recognition

Just one conversation with Joe Chenoweth is all it takes for anyone to appreciate his genuine enthusiasm for life; you might even say that this is why he is experiencing so much growth and success with Qivana. You see, when Joe commits to do something, he gives his all.

Joe began actively working his business two months ago after he experienced great results using the METABOLIQ products. “I lost eight pounds in the first two weeks and I felt wonderful,” he shares. What really caught Joe’s attention though was that when he used the METABOLIQ Shake and Boost, he no longer felt the need for his morning coffee. “This amazed me because I used to drink five cups a day and you wouldn’t want to go near me in the morning before I drank my coffee.” Joe describes himself as a social coffee drinker now—a fact that he finds extremely liberating. “I’ve been able to express my enthusiasm for the products in both my words and my actions. When people can sense that your excitement about a product is genuine, then they take interest; that’s how I’ve kept my enrollment numbers high.”

Helping others to reach their health and fitness goals are a fundamental part of Joe’s daily life. Apart from his Qivana business, Joe is the owner of two Curves gyms, and he just started a 7,000 square foot organic garden. For Joe, integrating his Qivana business with his existing business at the gyms was the perfect platform. “Out of 1,000 members, there are 999 who want to lose weight. It feels great to offer them products that will really make a difference in their weight and in their overall health.” Joe, who describes himself as being focused on natural and organic products, displays the METABOLIQ products on a shelf at his gyms with pride and confidence. “These products are innovative and effective,” he says.

Success for Joe is also a result of working diligently with both his upline and downline team members. “I call four upline leaders every week to learn from their accomplishments and to get their advice on how to increase my business. I’m brand new at working this business, so everything I’ve been taught from them is like a gold nugget.” Two nuggets that Joe has learned from his upline leaders are the importance of learning your presentation, and utilizing the Qivana Simple Seven Training. “Even if you’re a brand new IBO, you have to learn to do your presentation and not rely on others. A Qivana leader told me, you own your business when you know your presentation,” he says.

Joe encourages all of his IBOs to work closely with their upline leaders to emulate their success and to repeat their successful actions as a team. “As a leader, I’m focused on helping my team to build their businesses and enroll people. I can see the value in spending time and energy to help them be successful,” he says. “My team knows that at the end of the day, I’m not just trying to make a buck, I’m trying to help them make a buck. Working together and helping each other is what keeps the momentum going.”

Although Joe’s schedule is more busy now with Qivana meetings and trainings, his focus remains genuine and enthusiastic—he’s all about helping others to reach their goals of increased health and longevity. “The thing I enjoy the most is when somebody starts taking the METABOLIQ Shake and after only one week, they’re elated that they’re losing weight, feeling wonderful, and their energy levels are so great. Literally everyone likes the products and the products are effective on everyone. Normally, this isn’t that common, but it happens 100 percent of the time with Qivana.” He adds, “If I can be a tool to help others enjoy a healthier lifestyle and on the way, build a successful business with Qivana, then that just makes me happy.”

SECRETS TO SUCCESS

1. Learn your presentation.

2. Learn and use the Qivana Simple Seven Training system.

3. Utilize your upline.

Cindy Waller – Executive Diamond Requires a Commitment to the Team

Determined, focused, and committed are just a few words that describe Cindy Waller. Cindy recently has been recognized and celebrated as Qivana’s newest Executive Diamond and has qualified for Dream Week 2012—a Mediterranean Cruise to Italy, Greece, and Croatia. “At Convention, I set a goal in my own heart that I was going to be Diamond by the time I went to Regionals. I was determined to do whatever it took to accomplish this goal, and I made it!” she exclaims. “But I didn’t do it by myself—it was a team effort.” Cindy is thrilled that many of her team members will be traveling to Dream Week alongside her.

Cindy’s introduction to Qivana was great timing because she was retired. Her sponsor, Marshall Douglas, told her about the METABOLIQ Shake and the tremendous income potential with the business opportunity. She had worked as an accountant for 19 years and her previous experience in the networking industry had been positive, so Cindy listened. “I believe that networking is the way to build wealth beyond your time and effort,” she says.  Cindy was particularly interested in trying the METABOLIQ Shakes. “I had been drinking a protein shake every day for 20 years to level my blood sugar levels, but the taste was horrible. I knew that if this product had more protein, tasted good, and would burn stored body fat, it would be the perfect product for so many people!”

She wasted no time starting her business and made up her mind to share Qivana with as many people as she could, as fast as she could. It didn’t take long for Cindy to develop a large, thriving team—a team that she describes as, “An awesome group of selfless, loving, giving people that truly look to help others. They’re very committed to the business and to each other.” She credits her success to her team and in particular to her sponsor, Marshall Douglas. “He gives me excellent guidelines and teaches me how to grow and structure my business. I would call him every week and get his advice and opinions before I did anything new, and I still call him. He’s a wonderful teacher,” she says. Cindy’s desire to listen and learn from her upline has helped her to achieve tremendous growth and success; it’s a pattern she encourages all her new IBOs to follow. “Stay plugged in to your upline so you can learn from them. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel. Learn from their successes and mistakes so that you can grow your business faster.”

Cindy knows that a strong team is a committed one, and by that standard, she leads by example. When she travels to host and attend meetings, Cindy’s goal is to make each new IBO a Silver before she leaves town the next day. “This is how I’ve been taught, and this is what my team is teaching, so helping new IBOs quickly reach Silver is just the norm for us. This has been duplicated downline, so our team is just exploding!” she says. “I take my role in this business seriously. When I bring somebody into the business, it’s my responsibility to take them to Silver.”

Her unshaken commitment to her business has been both a blessing and a challenge. “I’ve blown off some personal vacations because I knew that taking a week off wasn’t acceptable because there were people counting on me. These choices have become blessings because I have learned that I have what it takes—I can make a decision to commit and follow through with it.” She continues, “When I’m done with my commitments to people, they will be able to stand on their own. There will be plenty of time to play, but I will keep my commitments to my team.” Cindy’s passion for helping her team succeed is matched by her passion for her hobby—scuba diving. “I have always wanted to travel the world to beautiful scuba diving sites and I know that with my Qivana business, this dream will become a reality for me!”

When it comes to teaching her team members how to build their businesses, Cindy tells them to focus 80 percent of their efforts on talking to people about the business. “If you’re not talking about the business, you’re not building your business,” she says. “People don’t need to know how every product works, just tell them how it works for you. Your excitement about the products and business will be what sponsors the next person.” Cindy and her team have embraced Qivana’s Simple 7 approach and the new Oats program. “These programs are a tremendous asset to our team because we’re all teaching and applying the same concepts so it creates a unified and powerful team,” she says.

Cindy’s clear vision of her future with Qivana has helped her to reach her goals and set new ones in place. So what’s next? “Absolutely Presidential!” she exclaims. And she is determined to help as many of her team members, who have become more like family, to reach their goals, too. “Spending quality time with quality people is one of the greatest blessings of Qivana,” she shares. “When you’re helping people to improve their health and become more financially stable, there’s a connection that’s much deeper and personal. In our normal, everyday lives, we don’t get to know people on that level very often. That’s what’s so special to me about Qivana—these people have become my friends for life.”

SECRETS TO SUCCESS

1. Make a decision and commit to it.

2. Plug in to your upline.

3. Talk to everyone about Qivana!

Dwight Flickinger and Lee McDonald – Success, Times Two!

Finding, strengthening, and producing talent comes naturally for Dwight Flickinger and Lee McDonald. Together, Lee and Dwight are the owners, president and co-president respectively, of Key Artist Group, a full-service talent and event production company that is ranked among the top ten most successful entertainment companies in theUnited States. Dwight has 39 years of experience in the entertainment industry, 23 of which he spent on stage performing as a saxophone and keyboard player. Lee has 29 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with 18 of those years spent touring as a professional singer. Dwight and Lee met in 1986, formed their own group, and performed together for eight years. Their next adventure together was establishing a talent agency and booking talent. “My wife is the most powerful sales person I have ever known, and through her skill and talent, we have put together a talent agency that is one of the best known talent agencies around,” says Dwight.

Creating success and helping others to thrive by using their talents is all in a day’s work for Dwight and Lee. So it’s no coincidence that they were introduced to Qivana while on the job. They were doing a show inLas Vegasfor a 45 day run and Steph Carse was part of their cast. “We’ve known Steph for 18 years. He is an extraordinary individual and we trust and respect him completely,” says Dwight. The cast worked very closely together for five hours each day. “Steph started educating everyone about health, nutrition, and Qivana and it really made sense to me,” says Lee, who had researched health and nutrition concerns on her own. She continues, “There are thousands of supplements on the market today, yet their claims aren’t substantiated. Qivana’s products are scientifically validated as to how and why they work.” For Dwight, his decision to join Qivana and try the products was based solely on the trust he and Steph share. “Steph believes deeply in Qivana’s products. After I saw how many of his friends were experiencing improved health and real, tracked results from using the products, it was easy to understand why Steph is so passionate,” says Dwight.

Together, this dynamic duo knows how to turn any business venture into a successful one. They quickly discovered that Qivana is a natural and enjoyable fit for their talents and personalities. As Lee says, “Building our Qivana business is something that’s organic in nature for me. When you find something you like, you become evangelistic about it and tell others. Word of mouth is the best way to build a business.” Dwight and Lee have a network of over 3,600 people that they correspond with on a regular business. “We reach into our existing client base because Qivana products are products that everyone can use and benefit from,” explains Dwight. Building their Qivana business has been all about sharing their personal experiences. As Lee advises, “Don’t sell the product, sell the experience!”

Although Dwight and Lee are heavily focused on their talent agency, they both agree that their Qivana business is something they can easily incorporate into their daily lives as they visit with their friends and acquaintances. “We look forward to building our Qivana business because we believe both the products and the business are enjoyable,” shares Dwight. Lee adds, “As we focus more on Qivana, we know it’s a business that will keep us healthy, active, and help us to continue to establish even more relationships and friendships along the way. That’s a wonderful aspect, because I don’t ever want to really retire. ”

Lee and Dwight believe that their success is a result of focus and passion. Lee explains, “Broken focus is what stops people from being successful. You must keep your focus and remember to be passionate about what you do. Believe in what you’re working for because in the end, what you believe in is what really matters.”

SECRETS TO SUCCESS

1. Plan your work and work your plan.

2. Focus, focus, focus.

3. Don’t sell the product, sell the experience!

“Dwight and Lee are an amazing couple. Everything Lee does turns into gold, and Dwight has succeeded at everything he has set his mind on accomplishing. As leaders, business owners, and individuals, they show integrity in all that they do, and I believe that’s the key to success and longevity. They are natural leaders and complement each other so well because of their combined strengths and talents. I’m happy to have such quality people like them as part of my team and representing Qivana.” – Steph Carse

Jennifer “Eight” Ball – Overcoming Obstacles to Create a Life of Thriving, Not Just Surviving

Posted on : Thursday, April 12, 2012 | By : QivanaHQ | In : Q Newsletter

Jennifer Ball, or Eight, as her friends affectionately call her, was looking for an opportunity when she came across Qivana. She knew her decision to become an IBO could possibly bring about a change in her life. Yet her dedicated decision has launched a course of events that have completely transformed her perspective of just how rewarding and abundant her life can be. “Before I joined Qivana I was accustomed to everything being complicated. My life was a basic task of merely surviving,” says Eight. “When Bob Sagar promised me that Qivana would literally change the rest of my life, his promise resonated with me.”

Eight began working her business and found she was enjoying the products as well as the convenience and ease of the routine she was following. “I naturally began to yearn for more knowledge about Qivana so I explored the website and all of the information available to me,” she says. One resource Eight tapped into was a conference call with IBO leader, Danelle Rich. “I was driving in my car listening and as my odometer turned 88888, which has significance to me, Danelle said, ‘True leaders are born at convention.’ That’s when I became aware of the 2012 Qivana Convention, and something inside of me said, ‘You have to be there!’”

Getting to Convention would be no small feat for Eight. The first hurdle was location; Eight lives in California, and Convention was in Orlando. Second, she had no extra income or any prospects of additional income to cover the costs of transportation, lodging, and meals, let alone a ticket to Convention. “I was going and that’s all I knew. I guess when you make up your mind to do something, you will pray to figure out a way to get it done and if it’s meant to be, God will open up doors for you and the Universe will show you how. That’s exactly what happened,” says Eight.

First, she was graciously given a ticket to Convention by Bob Sagar. Then she searched and found a hostel located three miles from the Convention site. Ticket? Check! Lodging? Check! Next was transportation. Eight wasn’t about to let distance get in her way. Her travels involved 26 hours of combined driving, flying, busing, and walking—all to get to Convention! At the end of Convention, Eight would walk the three miles to her hostel each night, just to wake up the next morning and walk the three miles back to Convention. Transportation? A tired, but satisfying check!

At Convention, Eight was unexpectedly called from the crowd by Bob Sagar, who shared her remarkable journey to Convention with the audience. The next day, Qivana Founders Craig Johansen and Devin Glazier were on stage to announce the winner of the Qivana photo contest. “The prize was $250, so once again, I had set my sights on winning the money,” says Eight. “I captured a piece of my journey to Convention with a picture of me running and carrying a sign that read, Qivana Convention or Bust!” she adds. When Craig and Devin stopped on Eight’s picture, she thought she hadn’t won. “They left my picture up and asked Bob if this was a picture of the same woman whose story he had told the day before, and then they asked Bob to come up on stage and retell my story. After retelling my story, Craig and Devin asked me to come up on stage. I didn’t know what to expect,” she relates.

What happened next was amazing. “Craig and Devin were taking up a collection of money on my behalf. At that point, I lost control of any thought I could have had and only experienced an outpouring of love and emotion. It was almost as if a gigantic burden of weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I didn’t even know or care at that moment how much money was being put down on the table. The love and compassion that I felt filled my heart with so much appreciation for what I had survived. This experience instilled a new hope for my future,” she shares.

Through the generosity of Qivana leaders, Eight successfully made it home toLos Angelesand began building her business with an increased sense of purpose and passion. Her newfound desire to learn and be mentored from her team leaders has helped her create a new career and lifestyle of success. She may have to drive to her nearest McDonalds just for Internet access, but this inconvenience doesn’t stop her—she achieved Silver Pro just two weeks after Convention.

One realization that has touched Eight deeply is the love and support she feels from her Qivana team. “It’s truly refreshing to know people really do care, after all. It feels good knowing that the Qivana opportunity is available to me and to all my family and friends. Working this business has deepened my relationships with my family and friends by opening our lines of communication,” she shares. “My team and I are determined to help each other live healthy, active, dream-fulfilling lifestyles and to pay that forward to others we love as well.”

She adds, “Qivana is teaching me how to live healthy, and learn how to live fruitfully while leveraging my time between family and business—all while I’m taking a product that’s increasing my energy, awareness, gratefulness, and receptiveness to what life truly has to offer.”

Now when Eight thinks about her future, she feels excitement and determination. She is making plans to send her son to college within the next two years and to purchase a small, safe home to live in. “My goals are to become Diamond, attend Dream week, and learn the Qivana Success System and Simple 7 thoroughly,” she says. “I aspire to do great things so I can help others to do the same.” One thing is certain about Eight: if she thinks she can, then she will!

SECRETS TO SUCCESS

1. Always believe in your dreams.

2. Never stop trying to achieve them.

3. Replicate the behaviors of successful people.

“Eight has an unrelentless determination to succeed and an unbelievable drive that pushes her through whatever obstacles get in her way. In fact, nothing gets in her way. She moves forward and she does it with such grace. Nothing ruffles her feathers, which is very cool. She is a tremendous example to the team of what can be accomplished.”     - Bob Sagar

Albert & Waini Muir – Hard Work and a Positive Mindset Generate Success

Posted on : Thursday, April 12, 2012 | By : QivanaHQ | In : Q Newsletter

Albert and Waini Muir believe there are 12 success factors to examine in a company before you are willing to put your name on the company, let alone your hard work, sweat, and tears. “First and most important is the management team; second, is the product,” explains Albert. After learning of Qivana’s stellar management team and scientifically backed products, Albert knew he had found a home. Qivana was the company he could proudly put his name on. “No other company can challenge Qivana’s team. Simply put, they know exactly what they’re doing. Second, Qivana’s products are all backed by science, they are effective, and the price points are the most affordable in the industry.”

Albert, who describes himself as “the hardest working person you’ll ever know,” tells his team members, “You take one step, I’ll take three. You stop, I stop. And don’t bring me anything negative.” His focused work has enabled him and Waini to reach Executive Diamond and qualify for Qivana’s Dream Week. “Waini and I know that Qivana will be a multi-billion global enterprise in the future. I believe we will be one of the top three IBOs in the company. Right now we’re already Executive Diamond and we’re absolutely going to be Presidential by the end of May, Royal by 12/12/12, and then Crown within the first Quarter of 2013.”

The Muir’s drive for success is mirrored in their team members who have captured all types of new Qivana records for rank advancements. “My team is the best group of people I’ve been around in my entire life. These people are goal setters and achievers, they’re fun and energetic, and they overcome objection like it doesn’t exist anymore,” he says. “We can all see that Qivana is on the verge of explosive growth.”

Albert credits their success to hard work and a positive mindset. “You could ask me about the last 45 people who said yes, and joined our team and I could tell you all their names. On the other hand, I don’t remember the ‘No’s,” he said. Another factor that contributes to the Muirs’ success is their focus on numbers. “Every team member knows that there are three critical factors that must happen on day one with each new IBO,” explains Albert. “First, you must sit down with a new IBO and make their contact list, and they must add one new person every day for the next two years. If they stop, I stop working. Second, help your new IBO learn how to set up an appointment over the phone. We teach them how to successfully set up an appointment within 90 seconds or less. Third, we teach them how to do presentations,” he says. Albert tells his team that in their organization, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, but everyone has to learn how to do presentations. “You will never own your own business until you learn how to do a presentation,” he explains.

The next number Albert keys in on is 12; 12 IBOs that is, who are working hard to move forward. “I affectionately call them the Dirty Dozen,” he laughs. “I have personally trained and developed these 12 leaders and they are giving presentations and signing up new IBOs every single day. I teach my twelve leaders to find and focus on training and developing their 12 leaders to duplicate their efforts. We focus on those 12, not on thousands, because it’s the most effective way to create business builders.”

Albert also teaches his team members to always talk about Qivana’s business opportunity first. “A good business person at the end of the year can put a thousand customers into your organization. On the other hand, a good customer will always just be a good customer at the end of year.”

Having a clear and decisive vision has enabled Albert and Waini to reach incredible success. More importantly, their vision has helped them to reach out and help others. “Being in the position to touch people’s lives by helping them to reach their goals is very rewarding,” says Albert. “With Qivana, we love being a part of helping others to change their lives in very positive ways from improved health to achieving financial goals.”

Secrets to Success

1. Build your organization with two magical enrollments.

2. Work hard and train your team to duplicate your efforts.

3. Always lead with the business opportunity.

Mary Jones: Think Big, Go International!

Posted on : Wednesday, November 16, 2011 | By : QivanaHQ | In : Q Newsletter

Mary Jones may have been semi-retired when her good friend, Cindy Waller, introduced her to Qivana. Yet Mary’s enthusiasm for enjoying friends and life along with her savvy business sense made her realize that Qivana was one opportunity she simply couldn’t pass up.

Mary has always enjoyed the growth opportunities and social aspects of her work. “I have had a job since I was 16 years old,” she says. “Before Cindy introduced me to Qivana, I was looking for something that would complement my lifestyle.” Mary has five active grandchildren, plus she’s the primary caregiver to her fiancée, Warren, who is currently recovering from cancer. Mary knew that maintaining her good health was a top priority in order to continue her roles, so the Qivana business opportunity and the QORE and METABOLIQ products were the perfect match. For Mary, the timing couldn’t be any better.

“I started taking the products and when I experienced positive results, I quickly realized the potential these products and business opportunity had to expand to different states and countries,” she explains. Mary’s growth was quickly fueled by her vision of sharing the products and opportunity with people she knew who had international contacts.

Mary called her good friend, Militza Juvan, who lives in Louisiana, but had owned and operated a spa in Cancun, Mexico and had family living in Mexico City. Once Militza was on board, she contacted her family members in Mexico, and the business quickly expanded to include the powerhouse combination of Karla Carmen and Luis Villa Gomez.

Successful business growth in Mexico continues to propel Mary and she recently advanced from Silver Pro to Platinum Pro in just three weeks. “We had a meeting in Mexico City a few weeks ago with our top leaders and the energy is amazing! We’re all excited about the potential of branching out to even more international markets to increase our businesses by simply building within your own country and your circle of influence,” says Mary.

Her advice to other IBOs seeking to expand their business internationally is to always be open to help others. “You never know who or what that one person may lead you to. Be open to others and to the idea that it can lead to something incredible.”

Mary describes herself as someone who likes to think outside of the box and think big. “I’ve always felt that I have great potential,” she says. “Yet at my age, I never thought I would be the owner of an international business. I feel fortunate to be a part of a company with phenomenal leadership and that I can surround myself with people who recognize the potential of this opportunity. Qivana is helping me to enjoy a new-found quality of life with my family and friends. To me, that is simply amazing!”

SECRETS TO SUCCESS

1. Always be open to helping others.
2. Follow through with every person
3. Realize there are no limitations here.

Michele Recupero: From Rollback To Sweet Success

Posted on : Wednesday, November 16, 2011 | By : QivanaHQ | In : Q Newsletter

2

Like many women, Michele Recupero used to find the minutes of her day swallowed up with the demands of a full-time job, motherhood, and, well, life. She thought she barely had time for a five minute phone call with AJ Monte. That is, until she decided to quickly Google him. “My neighbor asked me to give AJ just five minutes. After reading his credentials, I couldn’t wait to speak to him!” she says. “Our first conversation was brief, but he mentioned Derek Hall. After we hung up, I Googled Derek and quickly discovered that the business opportunity was Qivana. I thought to myself, if these two men are involved, then I’m in!” Michele signed up that night.

A few weeks later, Michele attended her first Qivana convention in Florida. “When I saw other IBOs get up on stage and talk about their successes, I thought to myself, ‘Why can’t that be me?’ I was driven and I knew I could do what it takes to be up on that stage,” she says. She returned home and enrolled her first person the very next day.

Michele’s positive energy and passion for her new-found business was contagious. She hit Gold by her third month and her team was growing rapidly. “Looking back, it’s easy to see that I had no experience in how to manage my team, so I made a lot of mistakes. My exciting growth spurt was followed by a rollback that lasted a solid year.” Michele remained optimistic and kept hosting meetings during her time of slow growth. “I just stuck with it because I knew it would turn around,” she says. “I never considered quitting, but at one point, the thought did cross my mind,” she admits. “Can you imagine how devastated I would be now if I would have let this go?”

Michele’s upline team helped her to realize that this business is a numbers game. “In a deck of cards, there is just one ace for every 10 cards. Sometimes those aces are in the front and sometimes they are in the back,” she says. Michele is discovering her aces are at the back, and now she is turning her story of a rollback and slow growth into a phenomenal comeback of record-setting growth.

This past summer, she enrolled her friend of 17 years, Anne Marie Pujnicki, who enrolled Therese Zuhoski, who then enrolled Colleen Clarke. Michele drove the momentum and as a result, the group volume doubled from July to August, then doubled again from August to September, and then doubled again from September to October!

Therese recruited 13 people in 3 1/2 weeks and just hit Gold in October, and Colleen, who enrolled at the end of October, just hit Silver Pro in less than 72 hours! Michele is also joined by her friend of 30 years, Denise Edwards. “Just in the past few weeks, we have had nearly 40 people join us!” she exclaims.

So what exactly is this group of dynamic women doing to create such incredible growth? Michele is hosting at least one in-home meeting every night of the week. “As soon as someone joins, we immediately engage them in the business by hosting an in-home meeting for them. At the end of each meeting, people are enrolling on the spot, and we set up an in-home meeting for each new enrollee and the process continues,” she explains.  Besides the in-home meetings, Michele and her team are expanding their businesses to include gym owners and physicians.

Michele’s team does consist of both men and women, yet it’s clear that the women are the driving force behind the growth and volume numbers. “One of the really great things about Qivana is that it gives friends the opportunity to work together,” she says. “I get to work with people that I truly enjoy being with. I think that’s a significant reason why we’re experiencing so much success. We’re having so much fun!”

Giving back to the community is a core value for Michele and she has been involved with Habitat for Humanity as part of the Women Build program, where teams of women workers build 12 homes each year. “Now we’re putting together our Qivana team and volunteering on these build sites,” she says. “We’re hanging siding, cutting sheetrock, and wearing tool belts! It’s such a great experience for us as a team.” In addition to Habitat for Humanity, Michele’s team plans on pinpointing other charities to contribute their time, talents, and resources to.

Michele’s story is one of perseverance, determination, and now of victory and camaraderie. “Qivana has changed my life tremendously,” she says. “I don’t want to wish my life away, but I’m so excited for my future. I have never felt like that before, and it’s a wonderful feeling!”

An entrepreneur, author, lecturer, radio host, and frequent guest on ABC News, Bob Sagar has an established and reputable portfolio of success. He is an experienced financial advisor and founded the Senior Financial Center which provides asset protection and income planning for individuals 60 and better. With his full schedule and active lifestyle, one might readily ask why Bob decided to add Qivana to his life. Ask him and he’ll simply tell you, “It was the timing and the opportunity.”

Bob is good friends with Qivana Diamond, AJ Monte, and the two of them worked together in a network marketing business 22 years ago. “We became involved in that company after the hyper growth had occurred, and we missed out on the ground floor opportunity,” says Bob. “I know that the Qivana opportunity is tremendous and it’s very real and exciting to me. As a traditional business owner, I have to manage employees, overhead, and everything that comes with operating a traditional business. Building a Qivana business gives me the opportunity for freedom, and I want to be free.”

Bob describes himself as a quick start individual. “If I make a commitment to do something, then I do it, and I do it right then. I don’t over-think or overanalyze. I do what I have to do, make any adjustments, and I just keep moving and keep doing,” he explains. Bob’s drive and tireless work ethic paid off quickly and he personally enrolled 12 IBOs in just two weeks. “I’ve always been a goal-oriented person and I have a bright outlook on what I want to accomplish in life,” he shares. “What Qivana has done for me is it has made my life simpler. I don’t have to go out and hire new employees. I know exactly where I want to go with Qivana, and I know that Qivana will be a billion dollar company. All I have to do is tell my story on a consistent basis, become the best leader that I can become, and help others to do the same. Qivana builds a brighter future and it has helped me to expand my horizons.”

For Bob, one of the keys to creating success is to clearly define your purpose. “I know I was put here to lead, teach, and train people. I’m very clear and definite about my purpose,” he says. Helping his IBOs to define their purpose, or their why, is one of Bob’s many strengths as a leader. He tells them, “Have a very clear why and let it be the ultimate driving force so that when rejection comes in, it won’t even matter.” In addition to developing a strong why, Bob emphasizes to his team the importance of writing goals and setting aside time for personal development. “I believe in my heart that this is a personal development and quest business. If people could learn to work harder on themselves than on their jobs, they would learn the skills to effectively communicate with and ethically influence others. Those who work harder on improving themselves will make a fortune,” he shares.

Bob’s goal-oriented mindset, clear focus, and enthusiasm have naturally made him a magnet for like-minded individuals. “I’m blessed,” he exclaims. “I have an incomparable upline team and I’ve been able to introduce this opportunity to a multitude of individuals that has quickly grown to include over 500 people.” He affectionately calls his personally sponsored IBOs his mastermind group. Along with specialized training, Bob’s new IBOs are introduced to the team’s nine core commitments which are: Be here 24 months from today; spend daily self-development time; do two exposures (opportunity introductions) every day; attend everything; do one long-distance exposure every week; use all the products; develop five to 10 retail consumers; and begin your own mastermind group. In his mastermind call every week with his personally sponsored IBOs, Bob reviews the core commitments, helps his team focus on their goals and where they want to be as a team, and encourages each of them to hold their own mastermind call with their IBOs.

A true optimist, Bob tells his team, “Don’t wish for fewer problems; just wish for more skills.” Bob knows that with Qivana, he is inviting others to be part of a powerful and life-changing opportunity. And as a dedicated leader, he’ll undoubtedly be there to lead, teach, and train his people every step of the way to success. “Qivana is giving us a brighter, more positive, and exciting future. I know that with Qivana I’ll be able to achieve my goal to own my life and enjoy freedom. Qivana represents a blessed lifestyle and I’m excited to be a part of it and share it with others.”

Tips for Success

1. Define your why.

2. Have a solid vision and goals.

3. Follow the examples of your upline.

Meet A Legend: Dan Jansen

Persistence, determination, and perspective are just a few of the qualities that describe the remarkable character of Olympic Gold Medalist Dan Jansen. A speed skater, he competed for the United States at four Winter Olympic Games: in 1984, 1988, 1992, and 1994, taking home the Gold medal in 1994 and setting a new world record in the 1000 meter event in the process. Dan is an eight-time World record holder in the 500 meter and 1000 meter; a seven-time Overall World Cup Champion; a two-time World Sprint Champion; and has won 20 World Championship medals, 46 World Cup victories, and more than 75 World Cup medals. He was presented the James E. Sullivan award in 1995 as outstanding amateur athlete in the United States.

In memory of his sister, Jane, who died of leukemia during the 1988 Winter Olympics, Dan established the Dan Jansen Foundation in 1994 to benefit youth sports, educational programs, and the victims and families affected by leukemia. After retiring from competitive speed skating, Dan was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 2004 and was the skating coach for the NHL Chicago Blackhawks from 2005 to 2007. He is an exceptional motivational speaker and experienced television broadcaster, acting as a speed skating commentator at the last four Winter Olympic Games and an announcer for the 2006 Winter Olympics.

This accomplished athlete and competitor has continued to keep health and fitness at the forefront of his life. So when his friend and fellow Olympic Gold Medal champion, Mike Eruzione, called and told him about Qivana, Dan’s initial interest turned into a solid commitment. “We looked at the products, tried them, and loved them,” says Dan. “We also met with the Founders and they shared their vision of Qivana with us. The combination of the products and the business opportunity made my decision to become an IBO a very easy and exciting one.”

Dan was joined by two fellow Gold Medal Olympians, Bonnie Blair and Mike Eruzione, in his decision to become an IBO. The three of them all realized that their work with Qivana as Olympic athletes could be very beneficial and enjoyable in a variety of ways. Together, they formed the Olympic Gold Medal Champions team at Qivana. “Each of us has been approached by different companies to be a paid spokesperson. These types of opportunities are usually short term. But with Qivana, we’re not paid spokespeople; we’re IBOs just like everyone else.” He continues, “This opportunity is perpetual. I have to play a part in building the business, and if I do it the right way, my business will be around and profitable for many years to come. That fact is very attractive to me.”

When Dan is talking to others about Qivana, he says he is proud to tell them that Qivana has the best doctors in this field in the world. “We are confident that they know their stuff; they are the experts. Their research behind the products provides a great level of security for me when I talk to others, and an incomparable selling point.” Dan knows by experience that if Qivana’s products can help him, they will help others. “The members of the Gold Medal Champions Team have all competed at high levels, we know our bodies well, and Qivana’s products are still helping us. As we age, I know we’re all focused on staying healthy, and I believe these products can help us continue to feel younger as we get older,” says Dan. His personal experience with the products has helped him to feel an increased sense of alertness and wellbeing. “I just feel better,” he adds. “I have more energy and I feel more alert and awake. I love the fact that if I’m in a hurry, I can have a METABOLIQ Shake for breakfast and feel good about it because I know it’s providing my body with all the nutrients it needs.”

Dan loves to surround himself with positive people, so it’s no surprise to discover that the aspect he loves most about his Qivana business is the people. “Every meeting, every convention, and each event are all opportunities to meet new people and reconnect with friends. It’s like a mini reunion.” Unwilling to settle for anything less than the best, Dan’s vision for the future as part of the Gold Medal Champions team is brighter than ever. “I know Qivana will go global and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
