Since its founding, Qivana's mission is to improve the lives of others through rewarding business opportunities, exceptional products, and a culture of caring and active involvement. We have amazing Business Owners who understand the importance of helping others. Qivana seeks to recognize Business Owners who engage in giving back through Qivana Cares, and in 2013, Qivana presented the first-ever Founder's Award to the Q Angels of Long Island, NY. In the past couple years, Qivana has been involved with inspiring organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Susan G. Komen. Portions of net corporate profits from products sales have been donated to support these organizations and their outstanding missions. 
 

About Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller, along with his wife, Linda. They sought to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. To accomplish these goals, they invited people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Today, Habitat for Humanity has built over 400,000 houses around the world, providing more than 2 million people in 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.

How Habitat for Humanity Works

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside our homeowner (partner) families. Habitat is not a giveaway program. In addition to a down payment and monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor (sweat equity) into building their Habitat house and the houses of others. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans. The homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used to build still more Habitat houses.

Qivana Cares is the philanthropic arm of Qivana and is supported by generous donations from Business Owners, a percentage of product sales, and events held throughout the year.
